The computer forensics is extremely important because it contributes significantly through its latest and advanced knowledge and skills of science and technology involving the computer and other devices to gather, analyse and present evidence to the civil and criminal courts. On the other hand, different stakeholders in the process of computer forensics as well as the judiciary such as security staff administration, network administration, information system and management stakeholders etc. must have complete knowledge and in-depth understanding on computer forensics in order to effectively carry out investigation and present evidences as well as to realise and authenticate the process and proceedings of judiciary system. Therefore, the different stakeholders usually engaged in the processes and procedures of computer forensics as well as judiciary should enhance their understanding of the computer forensics by the help of an expert and efficient computer forensic firms such as the Elijah.

In fact, the word “forensics” refers to the meaning of “to bring to the court” which further describes the processes of finding the evidence through appropriate and legal means and recover the evidence to present in the court of law. The forensics evidence can be of various types such as fingerprints, DNA tests, different kinds of data and information recovered from the files and folders or hard drives or webpages etc. However, since the concept of computer forensics is counted or considered still in its initial stages and that’s the reason it still does not get adequate relevance in the court of law.

On the other hand, the enormous growth in the cases of cybercriminals and online fraudulence have given uttermost importance to the computer forensics. The growing fraudulence and criminal activities through the internet-enabled devices and network often ruin the businesses as well as the government and non-government agencies especially such as banking sector, health departments, educational institutions through data-theft or hacking. In order to investigate this data-theft or hacking, the stakeholders of computer forensics should have adequate knowledge and skills so that they can effectively investigate the cases of harmful and sometimes disastrous hacking incidents and produce the evidence in the court of law.

On the other hand, the commercial enterprises and the government, as well as non-government agencies who have the greatest possibilities of falling prey to cyber-attacks through different unforeseen internet and network vulnerabilities, should also pay uttermost importance to computer forensics and further should know or get a basic understanding about the use and importance of computer forensics.
